Can anyone tell me where is the battery located? I couldn't find it.
Thanks in advance!

It should be somewhere in the trunck. Haven't found it myself yet (haven't looked for it really yet). But BMW always put their battery in the trunck of their cars to get the 50/50 weight distribution.

btw, if you just need a + and - connection point then open the hood, these connections should be somewhere in it so that you do not need to get to the battery to charge it.

The battery is in the rear. Looking into the boot it is on the right hand side (you can gain access by removing the right hand panel. Also gives you access to a whole load of fuses.

The battery is, as stated by others, in the trunk or boot. My car is left side drive and the battery is in the right rear below the floor of the trunk. It is probably on the left in right hand drive cars. First, raise the cover over the spare tire well and clip it in the up position. There are two nylon screws that reguired a quarter turn to loosen them. I would suggest pulling these all the way out after the quarter turn so they won't fall out and find their way into the spare wheel well. After the screwes are removed, the panel can be removed by lifting out the rear end near the trunk opening, first. This is rather easy to do. The battery and other electrical items will now be visible. Also, this is the way get to the release for the fuel tank door in case it does not unlock normally. Now you can check to see if the battery is charged or not by the color of the charge eye!

No, for right hand drive E60s, the battery is ALSO ON THE RIGHT!

Saw the 645i today at the dealer's and guess what? The battery and fuses and tools are all wired into the spare-tire well and held on a backened polystyrene mold. Yucks! So odd! So uglyyyyyyy...
