Battery issue or alternator?

I also have some kind of electrical problem with my 04 545i every morning when im driving my idrive screen starts flashing and today an error message showed up an "ABS Malfunction" or something like that. I opened up my trunk and checked the battery on the right side and checked to see if the terminals were loose and nothing im unsure of what this issue might be. The only good thing is that later on in the day after driving it 15 minutes or so my screen stops flashing and no error messages pop out it fixes itself wierd! 
what do you guys think any help would be greatly appreciated my Five Series community!

Take your car to an indy shop they can check your alternator in 5 min. If so you can get a new OEM alternator on ebay for $300. BMW price is over $500.
