Previous rides started with a 1947 Studebaker Commander convertible and included numerous Fords, VWs, MBZs, Saabs and, for added measure, a '61 Buick Special Wagon and Pontiac GTO.

nope not on there either. Idrive will never tell you that you need a new battery. Youre dead car will.
I'm not sure, but I thought my cigarrette lighter sockets were switched 12 volts. If that is the case, unless there was a failure of a electronic component, relay or switch the battery shouldn't see a load and be drained when the car is off. If that's the case then you might be able to get the failed component and battery replaced under warranty. I had the dealer replace two batteries under warranty. Batteries are not designed to do complete discharge and recharge cycles. Everytime that happens the battery is stressed and possibly degraded wrt available cold cranking amps. If there was a failed component that did not switch off the 12V to your lighter and as a result drained your battery, it could have permanently damaged your battery. Just a thought, based on the assumption that the lighter socket is switched. Good luck.

they shpuld change and give you a new one, i had mine changed last week, it always pays to be nice to you SA, thats what i do, i gave him a gift last christmas
