Battery Drain

My Ride: Black 520i, Black leather interior, Active Steering, DSC, PDC, Ornamental grille, Audio Aux Input
obviously battery draw is a problem, but:
if the car is not driven for long enough distances for the battery to re-charge itself between ignitions - that could also shorten the life of the battery - the plates are damaged by a chemical reaction (can't remember the name of the chemical process - my science has never been that good)
this is exacerbated by low ambient temperatures - ie winter
a solution is to drive the car longer distances - sometimes not possible
so there are chargers available - to hook to a regular AC in the garage when the car is left overnight with the engine switched off.

Hi,
the problem perfectly fits a letter from BMW we all (at least many, me too) here got because of a software bug (battery drain, etc.).
Get an update. It shall fix it.
Now it's 15.X (2?)
