That battery drain sounds like too much to me.

My 530d (spec in my sig) was left standing for 4 weeks over the Chritsmas period (Dec 13, 2008 to Jan 12, 2009 to be precise), one week of which was C-O-L-D by local standards (if I recall right, overnight temps dropped to -8C). On my return from vacation on the morning of Jan 12th, the car unlocked with one click of the key button and started with one push of the start/stop button (and minimal cranking).

Oh, and I don't have a garage, so it's parked out on my very wind-swept water-side street (we live in the old harbour)
i kept the car in garage for 10 days, maybe weather temperature make a difference on how long the battery will last?

Weather and temperature do make a difference but, as I recall, the colder it is, the faster a battery would drain. So, my car should have been worse off than yours given that it was exposed to the elements during the winter.

Batteries and altenators on the Bimmers are very prone to faults and failure especially if the battery is 2-4 years old; normally due to one of the cell plates becomming warpped and shorting i have simmilar experience even after BMW replace the batt under warrenty 12mths later it was useless- poor quality they put it down too and replced it again only to last for 3 years
Poor state of battery will affect your electrical systems as the newer BMW cars are very tempermental on voltage running through the electrical system and will throw up all sorts of electrical cliches and false messages, a good indication that your batt is on its way out is if your car alarm sounds for no reason, as the car alarm monitors voltage drop and will falsely activeate on registering a volts drop from your batt. But don't igor your alarm in case someone elses need for your car seems better than yours!
Whilst the engine is running, the altenator should compensate for any poor performance from your batt, best to get it cheked though! Check to see of altenator is charging the batt and carryout a load test on the batt; if unsure how to do it yourself then get a professional!
Happy crusing!

i parked my car for 10 days havent driven, today when i tried to start, it couldnt start but i still got headlight and interior light
so i jump started it, and got AWD and DSC error messages, is it normal?

how long do you guys park your car before battery die? what is the longest time you guys park your car and battery still running?
2 days of not driving it equals to a dead battery for me. i wish they have a solution for this. bought myself a battery tender and i just have to plug it in every weekend.

It's very common. The car always is draining power. Buy a Deltran Battery Tender (BMW has one under their logo) and use it when you'll be gone more than 3-4 days. I travel a lot, so it's a must.
What can you do if you need to leave your car at the airport for several days? I'll be seriously ticked if I get in late and the car is dead. Home is another hour away....this will not be a happy situation.

i will keep calling BMW road side assistance first 4 years, once a week
if i am in airport, then i will need to carry a jumper, huge BMW car with small battery

my friend got a porsche, he left the car for 5 weeks, still good, he said his battery is huge but small car,

Guys, any modern car should be able to sit for a couple months on a charged battery, and still start at the end of it. Not being able to go a week or two means there's a current drain problem and something is wrong. Or the battery is shot.

I've let my other cars sit for months with no dead batteries!! And one of them is a Saab.

You'd think we owned Alfa Romeos or Triumphs with all these electrical problems! You shouldn't need a battery tender to leave a 5-series bmw sit for a week!!
