People are charging a lot to fix these CCCs. I think BAVAUTO is the only company that does it in the states. At least the only reputable company. They do sell the capacitors that need to be fixed but then you'd have to find a local electronics repair shop to fix it. Honestly, it's up to you which route you want to go. Get it repaired, buy the capacitors, or find an aftermarket solution (android unit)

Compare prices for repair vs used. I saw $650 for repair, and a couple hundred for used. I read that the capacitor fix doesn't work anymore. I do not know how true that is or not though.

Ah ok gotcha. I did see BAVAUTO on Ebay, looks like there are a lot of great reviews and they automatically add AUX, I guess I'll just have to find a way to sneak the cord through...

Ok! I might go the repair route, I think I'd like to avoid the coding/VIN changing nightmare. Do the dealerships do the AUX inputs still?

Don't let @seanjordan20 hear you say VIN coding is a nightmare. He'll strongly disagree. I just found bavlogic on eBay. That's too pricey to me. I'd buy used and code it.

Yes, they will do AUX input but personally, I would add bluetooth on the Aux line. It is not a hard DIY especially since you'd have Aux coded already.
