Hi,

Thanks for reading my first post! I bought a beautiful 530xiT 2006 CPO on April 14th. It arrived with no Navigation DVD disc although it has navigation option. The dealer has been really communicative but claims that someone probably pinched the Nav Disc as the car was being delivered as they supposedly run about $200.

Anyway, the dealer claims the discs are way backordered so I have been without Nav for almost 6 weeks. Anybody else experiencing a similar problem or have any advice?

Thanks in advance.

First off I would not spend a penny on the disk. If they did not deliver the CPO with nav option w/out the disk then I would ask to talk to manager. It is not your issue that the disk was stolen during delivery. They should have a nav disk that they can give you to make you whole. It may not be the 2008/02 nav disk but at least you would still have a working nav. I have heard this happening to other people and the dealers usually will give you a disk. It may not be the newest disk but you should get one.

+1. What's the point of having Sat Nav when it doesn't function as it should...

There is no backorder for the navteq 2008.1 dvd. I know this because I just ordered mine and received it in three days. I agree with the other posters, you should not pay for it as the car was delivered w/o one. Sounds to me like the dealer is on the hook and is trying to get out of spending the money. Don't let them.

Just a quick follow-up...dealer's parts man was quoting way wrong part number. Should be getting my 2008.1 Professional Nav DVD soon.

Thank goodness for forums like these where you can do good self-research!

Thanks All
