Me and the wife went to amsterdam this past weekend and before we left i wanted to wash the 5er off well my wife decided to towel dry it with out looking at the towel well needless to say theres scratches on the rear panel and rear bumper...i almost cryed :'( ....then on top of that while we were there some person hit there car door on my passenger side and left a white paint transfer....oh and one more thing on the way back a huge rock kicked up and took a pretty deep chip out of the hood under the windsheild!!!oh what a glorious weekend...atleast the trip was good....what does everyone else use to dry there 5er's off with?

I dry mine with the meguiars micro fibre drying towel on this page fantastic product, looks innocent but works very very well. i think halfords also do similar products, probably slightly cheaper, might be worth a look.

I normally dry with a very clean large cotton bath towel. Most of the water is removed with spreading the towel on the hood or top of the car and dragging. One drag gets most.

I have been using the Mr Clean Auto Dry, it works great and doesn't pull off the wax.

I use a Chamois towel. Works great. NOscratches.
