I wonder if B-pillars in black high gloss finish is an option at the E60? Anyone who knows? Before I thought that the most exclusive models had it but I have seen cars, of the E39 model, with the 525i engine with it.

Here is a photo of the 7 with black high gloss B-Pillars but without shadow line.

I think even the E60 below has it:

It?s called Individual Shadowline High gloss. It?s available for most BMW models and will probably also be offered on the E60. The pics of the 760Li you attached has chromed window surroundings together with black high gloss B-pillars, I belive this however is is a special that is currently only available on the 760Li.
The E39 M5 with optional chrome line exterior however used to have this too. Individual Shadowline usually means that all of windowsurroundings are done in black high gloss finish.

Is the "Individual Shadowline High gloss" different from the Shadowline trim that comes standard on the U.S. models with sports package?

In Europe it is. The standard one that is just called shadowline has a very matt surface.

Thanks Thomas..... I personally prefer the matte black over the high gloss, but many U.S. model sports package BMW's come with the high gloss. My wife's X5 has it and it's OK, but I still prefer the matte ones.

It must depend on that US cars mostly have the biggest engines in the cars. The 7 with v12 has it, the E39 with v8 has it etc. But the 3-series with sport package has it even with the smaller engines. It seems that it is no good rule for this...

The trim around the side windows are available in chrome, shadowline and high gloss. Shadowline is flat black color while the high gloss is the shiny black color.
It's like house paint, there is flat and there is semi-gloss.

Have you seen the "High Gloss" in any E60 pricelist?
