It sounds like the problem is in the ipod touch. Do you have the noise with headphones? BTW, why are you using an ipod touch when you got an iphone?

Hi,
Agree with the above, sounds like (pardon the pun) you've already narrowed it down to the ipod Touch.
Could be a grounding problem with the Touch. Try a different cable, which might fit the Touch a bit better. It may be the jack socket on the Touch isn't making good contact with the cable.
Alternatively, get an ipod dock connector to 3.5mm jack cable and try that. i.e. the cable doesn't use the headphone connection on the ipod, but the docking connector.
Cheers
James.

Thanks guy for taking the time to write back..
I try like 5 different itouch and the same thing happens. I try different Iphone and the iphone never have problems only the itouch's. With headphone the itouch works fine. I really dont know what to do.

Try a line in cable (assuming you're using the headphone socket currently).
Not expensive. Also means you can charge the ipod if you buy a cigarette lighter usb socket.
The first step in troubleshooting is to ask what you are conecting with. Are you using a male to male 3.5mm jack? And if so, is the jack making full contact with the ipod. They're a litte screwy because it depends on the cable head. This could be an issue.
Or are you using a 3.5mm male to an the ipod proprietary connector? (It looks just like the charging cable but instead of a USB it has a 3.5mm male plug)
narrowed down to either the cable or the ipod itself. swap out cables with various ones and see if that solves your problem. Take a look at your headphones and compare to your cable and you'll see a difference. Not all cables can work with the ipods but oddly enough the same cable will work with the iphone. If you use the one above "It looks just like the charging cable but instead of a USB it has a 3.5mm male plug" will probably solve that issue....especially if you do not hear the static through headphones.....sure beats using so sort of cradle as suggested.

Good luck
