Hello,

I own a 530d e60 2007, when I connect an mp3 player through the aux jack and I turn the lights on I hear a constant buzzing noise over powering the music. Its really anoying can anybody help me with this prob?

Where is you mp3 located? center console, seat next you, in the glove box?

Also, have you tried multiple mp3 players and get the same problem?

the aux jack is in the centre console facing the rear seats. Yes I have tried other mp3 players and two different aux cables same prob.

the buzz starts when i connect the jack to the aux, even if the mp3 is not connected.

I think I would look into the aux jack itself first - maybe order a new one.

i had this exact same problem and it was the aux port itself. the dealer swapped mine out under warranty in less than 10 minutes. no idea how much it would have cost.
