My Ride: 2006 550 Titanium Silver: Came with: Steptronic , Active Steering , Logic 7, Comfort Package, Cold Weather Package, Sport Package, PDC , F&B Heated Seats , M-Technic body kit Added/Changed: 19" M5 wheels, AFe CAI, H&R Performance Springs, EuroBahn Performance Software, Eisenmann Racing Exhaust

Sometime the shifting of the Steptronic automatic transmission in my 2006 550i is "sluggish". I have been told by my mechanic that there may be a software update from BMW which will fix the problem. Does anyone know anything about this software update? Also, are there any aftermarket "transmission" tuners like there are engine software tuners?
