My car has the manual ac and was built in 10/03. I've been researching the forum regarding the auto fan speed and from what I gathered I accepted the fact that it can't be done on my card due to it's earlier production. However, last month when I brought it to the dealer to replace the power windows I was surprised to find out that it has already auto fan speed when I got it back. I think they made a software upgrade on the idrive. It also fixed the cd having to go back to track 1 everytime I turn off the car.
