Autobahn Anyone?

My Ride: BMW 545iA Black Sapphire
Model Year: 2005
Engine: 545i
I still have my winter tires/rim setup. I will premiere top speed in April - german autobahn is 20 min from my place!! Will probably make a video.
BTW, anyone know, if one lifts the Vmax and you exceed 260...will the:
a. speed indicator stop moving at 260 ( is there a stop? )
b. will our HUD speed indicator continue to count higher?
PS. I thought that Iceman's 545i had the Vmax lifted already...??

You'll have to do it at a very early sunday morning, preferably the A31 which is flat and straight.
Will be nice to see a side by side comparison of the 545i / 535d

I already did a few blasts down the Autobahn.
I'm not used to driving that fast so it's quite an adrenaline rush each time.
Furthermore it still is hard to believe that it is somehow legal to do 250km/h or 155mp/h without having to bother about speedcams.
Although many of the Autobahn's have restricted speeds nowadays, you can still find enough stretches to floor it.
Much more fun can be had from 13th March onwards because the Nordschleife opens up again by then!

Caravans are lifestyle for many a Dutch family. And I do agree that 99% of them should not be allowed on the Autobahn! They definately are a great nuisance.
