My Ride: GONE BUT NOT FOGOTTEN : 530d SE Auto : Titanium Grey / Anthracite Leather, Poplar Trim, 18in 123 Style Alloys, Adaptive Bi-Xenons, Business Nav, Hi-Fi Speaker Package, Heated seats, Split-Fold Rear Seats
LR DISCO 3 HSE with everything (including 3 kids)
I found my lights very unpredictable. However I recently changed the sensitivity
to "Very Sensitive" and its MUCH better now - not quite perfect but acceptable.
As other mention, it still gets fooled by bright-low sun.
Had SW upgraded to v15 at the same point - my auto wipers also went from junk
status to perfect operation, even in very light mist.

This issue is actually due to a software flaw. Version 16.0 of CIP should correct these issues.

Also, here's something I've been wondering about...
Once they fix the headlight sensitivity problem in software, are we all going to wish that our sensitivity setting be set to "normal" again? In other words, will the people who had it changed to "very sensitive" as a workaround to this current problem be screwed up again?

So, only dealer can adjust the sensitivity ?? My auto light is working very unpredictable. Sometimes it turns off very quick under a sunny day but other day it stays up all the times...

[/quote]Good question. Someone will have to be the guinea pig and let us know. I would think the factory default would be the way to go since the current issue is due to a communication problem between the light control module and the light/rain sensor. I think Canada will see CIP 16 in mid March, but who knows for sure.
