Dude.....you worry me!!

But, if you remember, there was PLENTY of time for someone to sneak out and look in your trunk before the food came.....I think Jason is still waiting for his drink.........

I've now experienced this mysterious trunk opening twice myself.

And I don't think it was activated by me sitting on my key. I parked my car 4 blocks away, and came back during the evening hours to find the trunk wide open. And it must have been open for a while as the trunk light was already off. Lucky for me, my gym bag with new iPod inside was still there!

I think its a faulty electronic issue. I know that when I parked the car, everything was locked with trunk closed!

Guys,

this is an electronic problem as mentioned by some of the fellas here - one thing you have to be aware of: there is quite a bit of electronic beneath the carpet in your boot. my sister had a similar problem, but in her case, it rained and obviously the boot had lots of water in it - it cost her nearly EUR 1,000.- to have the electronic fixed. so my recommendation, if someone thinks their boots opens from the distance, i would take it to a dealer just in case - wet electronics is not fun...
