auto aircon unit, vent sign turned red under blower button

So, Just noticed that below the button with which you control the airflow speed there is a led in the shape of a ventilator that just went red. It does not go off. My car is due for maintenance next week.... something to get fixed earlier? I would assume this is just some sort of error message to get the filter renewed?

Sounds like you have enabled independant mode through the iDrive, I'd go in to the menu option and check to see if its selected before contacting your dealer....

Ah, actually I borrowed my car to a friend of mine for a couple of days...
