Y'all need to update your profiles to put your location on the left hand side and details of your car in the sig below. Makes things a lot easier when you ask questions. It takes away the need for the "where are you from and what car do you have" inevitable question

greetings to this Aust sub-forum from Singapore.

I came across this exhaust/muffler name "Varex" made by X-Force ,an Aust company.
Its interesting to me, as it can control the loudness thru a butterfly valve.
If u guys happen to have some reviews or known some guys fitted such exhaust onto any BMW, pls let me know.
I had emailed from them before, but so far no BMW had fitted it.
X-Force are more of a cut price system. The butterfly control valve is cool, but a few places sell them.
Bottom line, I would not install an X-Force system on my car.

Some very good DIY's on the forum on both topics.
I have not changed the angel eyes yet, but plan to do so in the next few weeks.
Have a look in the vendor section for the bulbs.

Hi Guys

Yup, another aussie and I drive an E60 540 M Sports (as in the sig pic)..... had the 4.8is X5 that pinged its' head off with the same engine as the 550, and the M5 isn't very torquey for me around town (apologies in advance to all M5 owners) so drove the 540, signed up and love it. Every day is a pleasure to drive it.... loves to rev, had a real low down punch (until the dealer detuned it to get rid of some off line hesitation) but its still ok and I get a kick out of coming out of corners like a bullet.

Has all the fruit like HUD, comfort access etc and as it is a smaller V8 it revs pretty well for my driving (the wife calls me an old man because I amble along)... it will have to be a good car for me to ever replace it..

Good to see an aussie sub forum...

Oh, I bought my car from menere's BMW in Brighton.... have bought 5 from them now over the years they have been that good. I agree though about the pricing.... I recently priced up a battery charger like I saw in the BMW CAR Magazine avail in the UK for 60 Pounds.... got a quote back for $2600.00.... even the assistant thought it a joke.... obviously not the same item but still.. who's gonna pay that for a battery charger? I'm off to UK soon so will have to call by a local dealer...

Cheers

J
