This month I am introducing a new format for the sales reports. You can now see four years of sales instantly and if you want to see the 5th year of sales you can use the Adobe ?Bookmarks? feature to go back to the report for August 2003.

I really believe that putting all the monthly sales figures together and placing the YTD sales in another section make the reports much easier to read and understand. Any ideas you may have for further improvement will be greatly appreciated.

BMW Group sales this August reached 24,501 vehicles, up 6.2% when compared to the 23,068 sold last August. Total BMW Group sales of 192,233 units for the first 8 months of the year were up 3.7% when compared to the 185,355 sold in the first 8 months of 2003.

For comparison, Mercedes-Benz had August sales of 17,984 units this month, up 2.3% from the total of 17,583 sold last August. YTD sales for M-B were 140,114 which was a decrease of 1.5% from the total of 142,213 units sold during the first 8 months of 2003.
