Hello Gang, I just have a question in reference to the Auburn Interior. I need to know what color is the top portion of the vehicle, ie, the sunroof and overhead color. I saw one vehicle with Auburn Interior in Germany, and the overhead color was Gray. At that time I thought that was too many colors clashing inside the vehicle. If the overhead portion is Black as a standard color...I might be interested in that combo. Thanks in advance for all your responses. If anyone out there has Auburn Interior...can I view some pics of your entire interior including the overhead portion?

Do a search on Auburn you might find something. The roofliner IS gray. I found this to be a little off too, but when I go and look, I really don't notice it until I look to see if they changed it or not. I think the black roofliner is being saved for the M and it will be suede.

I am still planning to get Auburn. I love that look and it is different than anything else offered by other automakers in this class.

 

if you need some pics you can check these . They all show the top portion in gray, i would think too many colors too, maybe as you said with black wouldn't look bad at all

That's not correct. You can order the black/anthracite headlining as option 775.
It's also part of the M-Sport package.

I noticed that your production has already started. Perhaps its too late to change your interior color. If so, then its better to be happy with what you've ordered no?

If you still have 2 weeks to decide, then your car is not in production yet.
By the way, I chose Aurburn, so I must like it. It's very European...

 

I ordered my 545i with auburn interior. I was thinking about redoing the who headliner in black suede or alcantera. HOw much do you think that will end up costing?

Ruthless530, go over to the Elementary school there is a new 3 series and a 5er. I thought I saw one of them with Auburn interior on one of them while I was getting gasoline a while back. They usually park their cars by the fence. I hope this helps.
