Default AR Design down pipe

Maybe you gentlemen can help me, I am on the fence about getting the downpipes for my 2008 535i. I don't want my car too loud so I was hoping someone had a sound clip to help me over this wall please!

Majority of sound will come from aftermarket catback exhaust not downpipes and if you don't already have a full catback exhaust, then getting downpipes is pointless.

Yeah!? Thanks, I just don't want an exhaust sounding overbearing when I'm driving or Hondaish! What would you recommend since you have a 535i?

What is your main goal here, are you after sound or performance or what?

I mainly want performance with only a little growl, just enough to know that I got some horses backing me up. If I can hear droning in the cabin then it's not worth with on a bmw IMO

dp's are the first major restriction, makes perfect sense to start there, and you will see gains even with the stock exhaust system. and since there on sale it would be a no brainer if i were you..

dp's give you a more open deeper sound ocean10 just put his set on im suprised he hasnt posted a sound clip yet.. but it wont be even that noticeable just like a tuned car should. contact ocean he's friendly he'll tell you all you need to know.

and heres a few of my exhaust vids.

I'd say do it but the only draw back is an exhaust smell in the cabin, ive got around that with an e85 mix..

Man, you have to have the baddest wagon I've seen and now heard! Thanks for the clip, I have been talking to Ocean a lot. Everytime I talk I talk to him, my Christmas list gets longer! lol. Its funny you mention the smell, I have it whenever I put E85 in my car and you say it cured yours?

If you have a smell w/ stock down pipes then there's some other issues'. But catless Dp's are known to produce an odor but e85 has made my dp's odorless
