Anyone take delivery on a 550 yet

My Ride: 2008 550 6 speed Carbon Black, Gray Dakota Leather, Black Bamboo Trim, Sport Package, Cold Weather Package, Sun Shades, Aux Input
I would assume some people waiting for their 550s will be taking delivery any day now - is anyone really close?

My 550 was on Otello which unloaded in South Carolina on September 21 (and was in NYC 3 days before that). My VIN sequence would indicate that mine was #20 built, so there should have been some other 550s on the same vessel as mine. I think mtoasca is right: East Coast dealers should have 'em any moment now.
I'm thinking the earliest I might see my 550 is Friday or Saturday. But more likely sometime next week.
UPDATE: Sales rep today said my car has not been released yet from the VPC and no ship date has been set either. It's taking some time to install the M Aero kit I guess. Sometime late next week for arrival is his best guess at this point.

I just totalled my 530 due to Hurricane Katrina hitting New Orleans - I saw a great deal of damage on my way out and I heading back today for the first time.
I am about to order a 550...I want the aero kit...anyone know if this is put on at Factory? Also the Cali dealer has stated SMG has poorer resale value...any comments on that opinion? Thanks.

i hope all of your family and friends made it out ok....the M-tech kit is not available from the factory in the US, around the world it is part of the M-sport pack which we cannot have
your dealer can put it on, they will have to paint it as well, or you can see if you can get it done at the VPC...do a search on SMG to see the pros and cons, there are many threads regarding it...personally i think it is a great concept and would love to do it, but i honestly question the reliability since I will be buying a car to last 6 years and dont think it will last as long...good luck
