My iPod used to automatically recharge when I connect it in the car. Now it looses power in 1 day and it is not recharging back?? Anyone had this issue before.?

Cable is correct? IPod acknowledges car power when connected and car is on?

If so, then the iPod battery may have died. Try someone else's iPod. Do not compare with iPhone as they have different charging voltage as the iPod.

Yes cable. It is not charging even when car is running. Might be battery...it should not run out only after a day of charging. Damm thing is not even a year old....well a year....maybe the extreme heat and cold got to it being in the car.

Things to check:
- Reboot iPod
- Reboot CCC (Depress volume mute, CD eject, DVD eject together like Ctrl-Alt-Del)
- BMW iPod cable
- iPod (battery or dock/cable socket)
- your BMW iPod interface

If iPod repair is needed, consider IResQ.

What model iPod. The new Touches will not charge at 12v. They only charge at USB port voltages. If you are using a Touch, you will need an adaptor.
