Anyone know how i can burn 2011 nav dvd on mac

i got the torrents from piratebay and converted the files to diskimage but when i burn it as a disk image at the slowest speed bmw nav doesnt recognize it on 05 530i sport and premium package

make sure you use the good disc. double layer kind. I used burnimage to burn mine and it works fine with my idrive. The problem is when I gave out the copy to several members here, they can't read it with their idrive.

forgot...i burned the 2009-2010 version. Haven't looked up the 2011 yet so don't know much about it.

yea i guess i need to buy a professional disk cause i used memorex bought it for like 3 bucks at big lots LOL

Use high quality disks, like verbatim, and DON'T use the burner in your mac. I did this too and the bmw had trouble reading it. Find someone who has a desktop dvd burner, a high quality one like pioneer or sony, and burn it that way. When I compared the disks I burned via a macbook pro and a friends desktop burner, you can visibly see the rings of data on the mbp burned disk, whereas the desktop burned disc did not show any rings at all.
