Once you go back to something "less" you have an entirely new appreciation for the engineering with our cars.
I also enjoy cars in general, so to have a car I'm not excited about would be a real downer.

My Ride: 07 550 i, mystic blue, black leather, cold weather package, nav, sport, shades, bags, rear heat, V1 hardwired.

I bought my 550i because it was, and is, one of the most visually stunning cars since, well Mary Lou Henner. I drive it almost daily in the summer months, usually over the two Porsches. My only regret was not getting an M5 and not learning about the DS mode for a year and a half.

My Ride: 2004 530i
Model Year: 2004
Mine has been on winter break since I left the summer tires on. But it finally came out today and played a little in such mild weather (low 50's).

I totally don't need my 530i.
The old Ford Mondeo I had before it was fine but I've worked my @rse off to afford one and I want to enjoy it.
It's also nice that people seemed to think I paid about ?18-?20k for it. The fact that I only paid ?13k for it is a bonus. The second hand price of large petrol engined cars in the UK really is rock bottom at the moment, I'd have been mad not to get one. It would seem there is a bright side to our goverment screwing the motorist after all!
Plus I love it.

There should be no guilts for luxury products desire.
I do my eveyday chores with a Fiat Panda, but when I travell with my family I'm taking my 525i. It's a nice feeling to travel first class.
