You can't take it with you as the old saying goes. If you can afford to get a 5, you should and not feel guilty about it. On the contrary if you got bucks and drive a cheap car you are cheating yourself.

We don't need to but we choose to. For all different reasons.

Just wondering this, has anyone got an E60 just for the fun? Like if your honest with yourself you could easily manage with say a smaller or less expensive car?
Uummmmm NO! As other have stated, also for me it is choice. Crazy really, there is a feeling that I can?t explain the smile and the general good feel that my e60 and e65 provide on daily basis, somewhat embarrassing to admit! It has to be a crisis of such proportions that could be suitably explained by some airy fairy psycho babble you?d think, well here goes; the fact is as a worn out ex fighter jock that?s been rejected (divorcee and still paying!) one is seeking (sad?) mid life fulfilment (for male?s this is read as compensation) by hanging onto something tangible as ones mid life progresses along its bumpy way...............

Go get the e60....................

don't need an E60.
want one.
no guilt.
supporting the economy overseas (where made), here in the states (where bought and maintained).
it's tough, but someone's gotta do it.
