Mine suffers from pretty much all of the above as well. You need a new transmission (as do I). Good luck convincing your dealer to open the PUMA case to have it replaced. I'm going on 5 trips with no resolution, make a lot of polite noise and some folks have had good luck getting the transmission replaced.

+1 I also made some IMPOLITE noise too, and in the end BMW replaced my transmission, and I've had NO problems with it since!!

Be vigilant and make them replace it!!

My Ride: 2006 525XI, Jet black on Dakota beige. Premium and winter packages. I consider myself a purist and intend to keep my car absolutely stock and shiny. 2008 328I Convertible, Sapphire black on beige interior. Premium package, NAV, iPod adapter. Retired: 2002 325I, Titanium silver on black leather. Premium package. Absolutely stock and proud of it.

+1 It's very important to get the shop foreman to witness this as many times there are no fault codes for this problem. GL
