anyone have adaptive chime?

for some reason when I shut my car off and it does it's little chime that is much more pleasant than a DING DING DING...but now my chime will start out at a normal volume, then increase the volume about 2 - 3 times as loud and then fade out. soo, anyone else have adaptive chime?
