Pascal, just a stupid question (maybe) but...did you set the right "standard" for your country?

I ask you this because I used to get that same ad "no signal" for several channels until I set the standard for my country and then I had all the channels taken.

Luca,

Thanks - I did think of that but it is set correctly to the UK standard. Also, it's a shame that you cannot tune it manually (like you can on the X5). Maybe you just have to accept that the reception is poor most of the time!!!

Well, I previously had the Deutscheland setting and it only got Digital transmissions with several "no signals".

When I switched to "Italy" I got many analog (even local) Tv channels.
One thing I noticed is that it usually works better in open spaces and poorer in the heart of the city where high buildings can be an obstacle.

Had it on my E39, & did not get much use out of it.

Reception was generally good though.

Was wondering...is this an option for E60 in the US? if not, any ideas about installing?

Not an option for US, since many states ban the driver from being able to watch the TV screen. I know you can get some after-market tv tuner installed that shows the tv on the i-drive screen. I can't seem to find the post, but if you do a serch I am sure you will find it.
