Lemforder bushings set is around $60 on-line.
Replacement of bushings shouldn't take more than 2 hours at any mechanic with a hydraulic press.

I've done it on other cars. Usually requires a hydraulic press, but other than that.....pretty easy job.

When you buy just the bushings you have to take it to a shop and have them pressed out and in, much easier, and possibly cheaper than paying the shop fees, is to just order the whole control arm and install yourself. I would recommend getting OEM control arms - they have fluid filled bushings, the aftermarket ones don't have the fluid.

While I agree with PJinCA's recommendation above (to replace entire control arms), cost difference is significant.

OEM control arms are close to $500 (for the pair) vs. $60 for bushings.

I guess it depends on how long you are planning to keep the car and how good/bad the ball joint (on the other end of control arm) is. If the ball joint is bad, then no choice but to replace the entire control arm.

+1 on the OEM solutions. I had some from FCP Groton, which didn't last too long thanks to a failing oil switch and associated bushing swelling. I had the bushings replaced/pressed. Somehow both arms shifted to the edge of the bushing, and started to damage the carrier as they rubbed against it. If that part failed, it would be thousands to replace. So OEM's are in place now and, so far, no issues.

Hmmm...there were members here that installed the FCP Grotons and swore by them. I guess it's a longevity issue.
