Anyone driving with unregistered battery?

"Unregistered" battery user here. It's complete bullshit. Here's why...
The IBS sensor reads the the amperage pushed/pulled from the battery along with the voltage. The SOC (state of charge) is checked every 40ms over a six hour time period. Whatever the SOC estimations are will replace the 'registered date' when the battery was installed.

I found this on ebay, seems like a good deal and the guy has a lot of good feedback. I just ordered one to try it out. Says it does battery registration too.

^Nooo... get the black cabled one instead of the clear. That cable above has worked for some, headache for others. The black cabled one thus far has 100% working rate.
