Hi - I picked up the Anycom FIPO iPod bluetooth adapter, but I am having trouble getting it to work in my 2008 550i. I have an iPhone 3Gs with iOS 4.1, and the intergarated USB/Aux option. I am able to connect to the Anycom device via bluetooth, but the car does not recognize the iPhone. It allows me to stream music through the bluetooth from the iPhone, but it seems like it is only streaming through the AUX connection. The sound quality is horrible and the car does not recognize that there is an iPod/iPhone connected. I also am not able to control the iPhone from iDrive.

I have seen other able to get this adapter to work with other BMW models, so I think it is possible to get it to work, but I am not sure where the problem in the chain is.
