Well, I have 115,000 and counting. I have replaced control arms, water pump, thermostat, transmission pan and normal wear and tear items. I did change the tranny oil and rear diff oil as well. Love my car and have been on the fence on keeping it as the mileage gets up there. Being out of warranty is a little scary but I do have a great indy guy that works on my car.( He and his crew are all M3 owners) So only time will tell.

A GREAT question to ask in this forum...
If and when did you change your 'lifetime' transmission fluid. I bought my 04 530i with 55k miles and it now has nearly 90k miles. To flush or to not flush the transmission?
(I've started many threads on this topic but still don't know what to do. Some say NEVER touch it after 60k some say if you want the car to last DO IT NOW. I WANT THIS CAR TO LAST ME A LONG TIME!!!)
Thoughts, suggestions, ideas?

If I were to own AT w/ 90K miles and want to keep the car longer, I'd still flush it before it even hits 100K then flush it again maybe after abt 15K to clean the remaining sludge?
Email Mike Miller : techtalk@roundel.org
And ask for Old School Maintenance Schedule.pdf
He has done a extensive write up on maintenance of BMW and on page
Once you get that file then you can see his thought abt flushing ATF on non-maintained AT cars on page 18
I can't post the file as it's copyrighted and he will ask me to take it down

mines has 211,000 miles on it. Nothing really worth talking about just service items. However, i have rough running and just posted something tonight. The vacum pipes are all eroded and will need repaired. I keep my cars until they get crashed or die.
e39.....345,000 miles
e60 530d......268,000 miles wrote it off.
current model e60 535d....211,000 hope its good for another 200,000 miles engines bulletproof. Must confess i spent a few quid on a gt1. And these cars are all electronics i figure it will pay for itself at the end of the day.
Much written about the dpf, i bought this car at around 100,000 miles and its not had one!

My 05 525d sport auto has done 135K miles not km, and still running like a good un' people say they can go for double that, but like anything, nothing lasts forever, and also, age is as much of a concern as milage in my opinion....

74000+ miles on a 2008 535i. The HPFP issues recur from time to time. I'm still on the lookout for a new car but can't make up my mind. Don't like the F10.

'06 530i with 73000 and going strong. I told my wife if she let me buy it I would drive it until 250k.....but I have CADD (Car ADD)! I love it though, and with mods keeps getting better.
Wow, there are some very impressive numbers in here. I have a 04 545 MT with 78K
At about 70K I did my clutch/flywheel, ran me about 3300
Since then, just brakes and the usual maintenance
My idrive did blink the other day though and I had to restart the car, seems its time for the alternator to be changed.
