'08 535xi, ~230,000km. Putting Bilstein B6 dampers on shortly. Planning to keep indefinitely. It's been a good car since buying 7 years ago.

233,000 miles here, 04 530i. And that's because I have 2 other cars and motorcycles. Otherwise, it would have been 300,000. Can anyone beat that?

I just bought a 2005 545i with over 188,000 miles. Nice car, but I'm regretting it, believe me.

Thumbs up Any members here with high mileage E60

My baby has currently reached 419,725 miles, 528i 2008. And it vibrates when accelerates up to the hill or on rough surface of high ways or roads. Then today when temperature reaches over 100F my baby ,first time, is stalled after exited to ramp and stopped. I restarted the engine and it worked fine to circle around shopping mall. I then turned off the engine, waited for 10 min and restarted the engine fine but after idling for a minute, it stalled again. I restarted the engine again with air condition off to follow the back road to get home for 44 miles without any problem. I am going to run the Inpa to see the error code (check engine not led on). I will take to the BMW shop which I trust.

Here the list I have done to maintenance my baby by changing:
  • Changed spark plugs 3/21/2015 @ 108,000 mls
  • Changed Ignition Coil 4/3/2015 @108,800 mls only coil #1
  • Changed Oil housing filter gasket andOil cooler gasket 3/28/2015 @108,700 mls
  • Changed Electric water pump & Thermostat and upper hose 4/16/2015 @ 109,000 mils
  • Changed the alternator belt, tensioned pulley on 02/21/2016 @ 158,000 miles
  • Used transmission on 06/2016 @ 167,200 miles
  • Spark plugs on 07/25/2016 @ 170,000 miles
  • Valve Cover Gasket, Electric Shaft Sensor, and Gasket Valvetronic Actuator on 10/20/2016 @ 200,000 miles
  • Changed Crankshaft Position Sensor on 10/26/2016 @ 200,600 miles
  • Vanos Solenoid on 07/2017 @ 261,630 miles
  • Fuel Pump and Fuel pump module on 10/2017 @ 277,252 miles
  • Water pump and Thermostat on 10/2017 @ 279,134 miles
  • Changed Oil housing filter gasket andOil cooler gasket on 12/2017 @ 294,000 miles
  • Changed spark plugs 3/21/2017 @ 294,300 mls
  • Valvetronic Motor and its gasket 01/2018 @ 300,000 miles
  • AC /Heater blower and its final resistor on 09/2018 @ 356,000 miles
  • Changed lower Return hose from coolant reservoir and heater hose (overheat on the road in downtown and toweled home for repair on new year eve) on 01/2019 @ 378,000 mils
  • Changed spark plugs on 02/2019 @ 405,000 mls.
These is major parts to replace and change excluding normal tear and wear to maintain like oils, brakes, tires, antifreeze, power steering fluid.
All above changes were done by myself except the transmission and Fuel Pump and Fuel pump module.
I think my baby has lasted to this point because I did it for her slowly and patiently replaced OEM parts.
