2006 530i with 135,000. I've done a potful of work to it to get it here.

 

My 04 530I has 199k miles and still driving strong, I bought it 7 years ago with 24k and maintained it.

 

2010 550i with 118K miles. Looks and drives like brand new.

 

One of the benefits of a naturally aspirated engine. Simplicity over turbos.

 

The 07 525i with 123k miles has had more than a handful of issues, pretty much all since 100k miles. We have had it since 45k on the clock, so we've tallied 80k miles Of course the standard maintenance PLUS, starter, rear window trim, belt tensioner, cam position sensor, DTML pump, COPs, coolant tank, oil cooler and filter housing gaskets rock hard and leaking, water pump. Right now it needs the headliner reaffixed to the moon roof door and it needs cam cover gasket.
My 16YO son saw the "Service" light on my 550 that came up last week for spark plugs at the same time I was waiting for parts for the 525 water pump and he said, "Man these BMWs always have something that needs fixing!" Not exactly true but the 525 has had more than its share.

 

I have a 2004 545i approching 130k miles. Runs like a top thus far! Only had it for about a month now. Have full service records from previous owner. Very well maintained. Love it!!!

 

2006 e60 530xd with 495000km

 

That's 307,000 miles. That's the highest mileage I've seen on an E60.
Do you know if the transmission was serviced/replaced on that car?

 

No never, I've the car since it had 55000km (34000miles)
I've just done the regular oil changes :

- engine oil changed every 6250 miles
- automatic gear box oil changed every 62000 miles
- transfer box and front/rear axle oil changed every 56000 miles
- power stering oil changed every 56000 miles

A friend, is a cab driver he uses an 525d e60 which has 750000km (468000 miles)

 

I dont consider this high mileage but ill share anyway. Mine is almost at 103k miles.
