I've got 189,xxx on my 04 530i (M54 motor). and running great! Bought it CPO in 2006 with 30k, and its been rock solid.
biggest problem was Tranny replace at 50k (under warranty).. But other than routine maintenence, this has been an awesome car.
just replaced valve cover gasket, and engine moun.t.

But I'm still rolling on my original shocks/struts, water pump, alternator, starter, etc. Can't believe how solid the car still looks and feels. Even my mechanic (a BMW tech) can't believe how well the car runs. I'm gonna try and get another 100k out of this motor. But I doubt the tranny will last that long.
We'll see!

I'm about to hit 110k. I haven't had any major issues over the last 10k miles. Right at about 99k my coolant resevoir cracked and was replaced under warranty just before my warranty expired. My only concern at the moment is that I think I need to repalce my 02 sensor, and my car throws white smoke when I drive away when I've been idling for about 10 minutes or longer.

Since I got the car CPO in 2010 at 40K miles I had some things repaired under warranty:

Replaced headcover gasket at about 75k miles
Replaced AutoStick shifter (broken again - can't drive in DS mode currently)
Replaced water pump
Replaced return hose to radiator twice
Replaced a few power windor motors

At the moment the car is still running strong, however I have started to notice a little bit of power loss, and some lag at times, but I have a feeling once I replace my 02 sensor the lag will subside.

I have 05 545I with 187k. Water pump went at 67k. Thats the only major problem I've had. I've replaced valve cover gaskets for a minor leak that went way to long. Replaced Ball joints on rear, oil pressure sensor, control arms on rear. These things all happened 160k+. Has been a great dependable car so far.

2006 530i AT 128k on the odometer, haven't had any major issues other then regular maintenance. I currently have a coolant leaking which I'm hoping is nothing major but my gut tells me it might be water pump related.

Coils replaced
Spark plugs replaced
Regular oil changes
Cabin filters
Transmission service
Brake service

116k on my 04 545. had major engine work around 110k, somehow camshaft jumped time. Caused major damage, still dont know how it happened, cost over 5 grand!! Warranty repaired it and runs fine now. Just replaced battery, will probably tackle alternator in a few months. Sad to say but I think I will be parting ways next year. Great driving car must admit but all good things must come to an end.

73k here. Replaced a coolant switch that appeared to have dry coolant around it at around 60k miles. So far it's been a solid car.

Anymore comments with 535i N54 to add here? I do have ext warranty 60mos/75k miles on my 2010 but plan on keeping it over 100k. This car is a torque monster.
