Any help? Air con gone screwy

My Ride: 2006 530 d M-sport e60
When I did my trim swap I made sure to remove the battery but when I
Reconnected the battery my basic air con had gone screwy, the air distribution is stuck on the
Footwell, the temp will not go cold at all and the fan speed will not work below no.2.
I reconnected the cables properly so I am not sure what has gone wrong.
