My Ride: Porsche Cayenne Turbo, E-46 M3 & 550 to come.

Thanx guys,

I kindda liked the looks of the car, & the power it has, my friend back in the dealership told me that the car is m aking 367hp, that really impressed me. Is it true or s he jus BSing me?

I kindda have second thoughts about SMG, , cuz at the mean time i driving an e46 m3, & i dont really like it that much, i wish i had got a manual gearbox. plus, im not gonna wait & order a car, im just gonna take it of the shelf.

But as far as the fuel goes, i dont really care, cuz were i come from fuel is cheaper that water (in other words its less that a $ for a gallon). So no one here is complaining about fuel.

no need to read, even if it has probs you will get your E60... that is why we are all here...

secondly if you cannot get the M5 get the 550i and do not care about more, burn that rubber!!!
To be honest i dont want to get an m5, im just waiting for another car to be released soon hopefully by march or april, then by summer i'll go ahead and take it. Its a bit too soon for that car.

360 HP. You would benefit from reading the brochure I mentioned above.

Hey guys, as u all can see im new here in this forum.
I'm thinking of getting a 550, wat do u all think?
Can anyone, tell me any info about the car. As far as the specs goes i know 'em all, but i want to know about the problems with the car if there is any that i should be aware of before getting it? because its going to be my daily driver car.
Thanx.

Just do it! Great car, lots of problems -

 not so good on gas = 12-17 mi per gallon $45 fill ups!

 you'll need to get a clear bra because the e60 is susceptible to rock chips =$595.00

 you'll have rattles everywhere after a while (but the dealer will continue with short term fixes under warranty) $0

 Bluetooth will be buggy = $0

 if you have runflats - you'll complain about the ride = $250 per tire

 You'll want the M sport kit =$2800 - $3000 installed

 You'll want a sportier exhaust = $1000.00

 Speeding ticket = $150 - $200.00

Using the e60 forum to find answers = 7days per week x 2 hours per day x approx. $100 per hour (your time spent) =$1400

but in the end, stomp on the accelerator, a slight lift on the hand shifter, corner with active steering and viewing the distorted and frustrated face of an 18 yo in a 350Z in the rear view mirror!!!!!!!!!! Priceless

Depends on what you expect from your daily driver. Comfort and fun - yes. Reliably getting you to work and back every day - look elsewhere. My 8-month old 545 (build 12/2004) has let me down once already. Was given a ride to work by my girlfriend?s little sister in her 1993 Altima. For 30 minutes she kept telling me how reliable her Altima was. I promised myself to get rid of my 545 as soon as M-sport steering is available for auto tranny E60 in US.

Really, I get excellent gas mileage in my 545i, and the EPA is not that different on the two cars.

you'll need to get a clear bra because the e60 is susceptible to rock chips =$595.00

All cars are, but if one owns his or her car, then the bra is an excellent idea. Some of the newer paints are softer than earlier paints for environmental reasons.

you'll have rattles everywhere after a while (but the dealer will continue with short term fixes under warranty) $0

None on my 545i

Bluetooth will be buggy = $0

Mine works great. Picking the right phone is very important, but that may not be your problem.

if you have runflats - you'll complain about the ride = $250 per tire

I liked mine, but I wanted "more" and "less" so I replaced them plus wheels with 101's and PS2's--keeping the original wheels and tires for trips.

You'll want the M sport kit =$2800 - $3000 installed

You'll want a sportier exhaust = $1000.00

Speeding ticket = $150 - $200.00

I think my V1 was about $400. It has saved me several times already. So, now it is more than free. Flash-defeating license plate cover $28. It hasn't saved me yet.

Using the e60 forum to find answers = 7days per week x 2 hours per day x approx. $100 per hour (your time spent) =$1400

We have begun an e60.net Annonymous group.
