Happened to catch the reference in the latest issue of "Autoweek" for a laser jammer called the Blinder. I checked into it further, and discovered some pretty interesting reviews, both digital and printed. Did further research, and found a test that was done in Texas that further validated the Blinder's effectiveness (100% @ 500 and 1000 ft.) Decided to pull the trigger and get a couple for the 550 and the 993. The install instructions are very exact about mounting, and I was curious if anyone has bought and mounted one of these bad boys, and what any experiences you have had using one. Troubles me that I have to have a V1 and a laser jammer, and also worry about the cops being able to shut down my car remotely via a satellite. At the risk of dating myself, I long for the days of old when the original Escort was the bomb, a Fleetwood Mac cassette rocked in my Supertuner II, and water poured in through the T top seals of my 77 Trans-Am.
