My Ride: DMS 535d. Titanium Silver on Black leather. M- Sport Package.
Try this and you'll be surprised
Anti trap function problem solution
1. turn your key to position ONE
2. open window by depressing the key yourself (dont use auto function)
3. wait 5-10 secs
4. close window by depressing the key yourself (dont use auto function)
5. wait 5- 10 secs
6. repeat steps 2-4
7. should solve the problem (resetting the motors)

My Ride: '04 545iS 6 spd, bought new via eBay, 11/05; Blk/Gry, Cold, L7, PDC, BMW Rear seatcover for pets.
First "Bumwa" was a new 1971 2002. High performance 5s since 1987. Beamer motorcycles too, currently on an 07 BMW K1200 GT; also a Moto Guzzi 1000 SP III.
Replaced motor and tracks that were causing fault signals to motor. Motor seemed excessive to me, but he implied they operate together.
Everything OK now.

I have the same problem with my rear passenger side window. It just says Anti-Trap and you have to reset it (all the way up and all the way down) to get rid of the error msg. I have taken it to the stealer and thay ey have changed the motor but still happens... Its going back in soon though...
Just read Rudy's post re the window manual thingy. The emergency and panic mode for closing windows is somtyhing i didnt know about! Gonna try it some time! If you activate the panic mode the motor keeps working until the thermal cutout - the anti-trap feature is disabled! Cool!
