I was concerned that it would be a bit dark, but that is not the case for me.. It is not too dark or cave-like IMO, especially with the liner of the sun roof pulled back.

I just picked a 535xi, plat gray with natural brown - I did order the anthracite and think it's great...an absolute must with the natural brown otherwise you have 3 interior colors...black carpet and trim, brown (really tan) seats and light gray headliner. Looks very exclusive.

i am also here in US and i was not charged for anthracite headliner a penny,i was told it is optional and FREE,finalized the deal and currently awaiting transport...the car was already built...will post results when i actually get the car...but i don't imagine dealer would try to have me pay for that as we signed the papers already...
