Like sewing machine coming maybe from the a/c compressor.

I got rid off it by turning the car and a/c on, and turned it off again.

When does it make the sound?
Usually after the car's been shut down. Meaning the key out off the ignition, and the car's been locked.

I had strange AC related sound this week that bothered me a bit. It was as if the belt on the compressor was slipping.
