From what I've read on Bimmerfest the dealer that you have your car at isn't to swift, read a lot of complaints.your from NJ, why don' you have it towed to Bimmer Clinic,NJ
A lot of good things have been said about them. Look them up on google. Good luck
cheers

I used the BMW of Bloomfield, they're not the greatest, but NOT as pushy and eager to make you agree to perform the work on their shop as these people at Manhattan BMW.. I have Paul Miller BMW near my house, but i rather get a reputable indy.. I've asked an Euro car shop in NJ and he politely(maybe not) said hell no.

I was told yesterday that the car is drivable again, by the same guy who told me a day earlier that the SMG pump and the clutch was totally gone. Weird!
I'm not sure if I should take the change trying to drive it to the shop and get stuck..

Thanks

As crazy as it might sound, if they did the hydraulic pump and the clutch it was cheap, the hydralic pump alone runs about 4.5k and the clutch so its a lot of money, what they didn't tell me was they were going to replace with SMG pump repair kit which cost about $500 plus the clutch..
I'm not sure if the hydraulic pump is covered under the warranty, as clutch isn't. If you have an SMG without warranty and some miles on it, better have some money saved because it won't be cheap if it fails..
