Tells me the pre-cat 02 sensors are getting off the chart input data and can't properly compensate.

I'd check for vacuum leaks.

I still say smoke test your car for vacuum leaks. If that doesn't work, you might need to trade me those 166s straight up for my 17" 138s. I can't guarantee that'll solve your problem, but it will solve mine.

In all seriousness, check for vac leaks before anyone starts blindly throwing parts (02 sensors) at the car.

good luck.

Haha. Thanks man.
I'll get it in next week and check it for leaks.

Default 2004 545i check engine light

Has anyone experienced these codes on their 545i? My service engine soon light came on and these codes came up when I had it scanned. How expensive is the repair? Is this a vacuum leak?
