Actually ICEMAN, it appears that post week 9 production, you do not need nav to get MP3 support.? At least one member on the board with March production without Nav (but with Sirius) can play MP3, and another march production WITH nav and with Sirius can play MP3s.

No. That has nothing to do with week9.
It was allways the radio pro what was required, and this has not changed.
The member with the Sirius... I dunno. But probably it has something to do with the Sirius.

It definately makes no difference if your car is pre or post week 9.

Is it possible that post-week 9 cars are getting Radio Pro in the US? Because I picked up my car this week and it has Sirius and 16.2 but is a week 8 production and it does not have the menu item "all radio stations" and does not play MP3s. However, there are other US board members who have post-week 9 cars that can play MP3s and also have that menu item on iDrive which leads me to believe that they started adding Rdio Pro to post week 9 US cars (may only be for Sirius equipped cars, but I do not know).
