I've lost my awsome LED's and my voice control, my dealer dosen't understand how to make it work

So now I will have to wait untill a better software... And while they where upgraded my CIP last week, the service guy (who actually is pretty service minded) did make a scratch on my rear bumper,, it's just a scratch, and it didn't mess upp the paint, but I can still see the scratch (just because a know it's there), even after they try to make it go away :'(

I just HATE BMW's service - you hand the car in with one problem and get it back with 2 new problems, and a scratch....

Last news from BMW France on the amber LEDs issue : will be fixed in 18.1 coming by end of July here.
Personnaly I will wait for 19.0 mid-september to also have TMC issue (France) fixed and get MP3 capability + other bug fixed.

I was wondering where 18.xx had gone, such was the lack of references to it.

I only saw it mentioned as an E90 specific release.

But if this is the case, I'll think I'll skip it also. All upgrades I had never got in at first try, they say that I have too many modules (!!!) and the result is 2-3 days waiting.

Besides the LEDs are the perfect excuse for getting 19.xx with MP3, and possibly a (almost) free extended voice control retrofit (just received the 50 EUR kit).

If you can't wait lets upgrade to 18.1 and let us know if it works (and eventually what no longer works).

BMW (France) told me CIP 18.0 is available now and fix the amber LEDs issue.

I don't upgrade now (will wait for 19.0 to also fix TMC bug in Paris), but if someone does please keep us posted.

i just got my car back from dealer who attempted to rectify the orange lights

unfortunately i was tols that whilst installing ver 18 that the computer crashed and that i would have to wait for the latest update in august.

has anybody else had this problem
