I lost my angel eyes after the software update when the SZL module was replaced. I took it in to the dealer so they could re-enable the angel eyes, and when I got her back, I still had no angel eyes but they had turned on my DRL's
(for non-US members there is no option to turn DRL's on or off in the US versions of iDrive). So right now I have DRL's (which I don't want) but no angel eyes.

I just got a software update to fix a number of issues (haven't had a software update in over a year) and noticed the same problem (no eyebrows). I also noticed that when I lock the car I no longer get the lights flashing and the beep, even when the options are set that way. Anyone else notice this one as well?

Are the lights going to work properly on a new production car or are they getting broken software from the factory? (Car produced yesterday)

In a more general sense, the eyebrow is the parking light, right? It's the only orange light on the front?

On mine its the eyebrows and leds.
Ok. So the angel eyes still work? If I had to lose one or the other for a while I would rather lose the eyebrows and LED's and not the angel eyes. Hopefully they will fix it soon.

Hmmm, I'm in the same boat as you - waiting for a call from my SA today - I'll update this post if he gives me any hope!
Jon.
Jon.
I know it is not such a big deal as it does not affect safety, performance, or drivability - but somehow, the car just feels incomplete without them. The SA and Tech at my BMW shop are both sensitive to this and are putting as much effort as I think is reasonable into it - after all, they can only install the software BMW sends them...
I just noticed this morning, eyebrows not working either. Will call BMW service today. Thank you for bringing this into my attention, it could have been weeks, maybe months before I'd have noticed (Update was done last week).
