Alpine white is the sickest colour there is for a bmw imo. It's the sportiest also...wanted also to get white but then after all the other people adviced me about the resale value....i got the carbon black.

I was one step from ordering in white. If in the future i will get to buy an M it would be certainly white. Period.
The biggest disadvantage of black is that you have to wash it every 2 seconds as somebody said earlier. But at night it gives that "panther went out to hunt" effect wich no colour can substitude.
My next bmw for sure will be white..hope it will be an M
Thanks, you are confirming my decision to stick with white. Why are we so influenced by resale value when what is important is how we like the color because we are the ones that will live with it. When I sell it I know there will be another white lover out there that will like it as much as I did.

I've had a Jet Black M3 which I loved. But caring for a black car exhausted me. I am loving TiAg once again. I think this is the color that emphasizes a car's lines the best. And it is a breeze to care for. I now have two layers of Klasse Sealant Glaze on my 2 week old car and intend to add weekly until I get 6 or so. Then I'll start to layer a wax.

The fact is the dealer missinformed me at that time. He said that with the m kit i can go with 2 coulour. Either carbon black or...i don't remember what. (titanium silver?). So i understood that white was not a n option. Too bad since i found out later that it could have been possible. On the other hand when i told the dealer he said it was too late as the order was already placed. I knew it could have been changed because it was only after a few days since the deposit was made but....no problem. As i said it. When it comes to bmw only 2 colours are there: balck or white. And now white has really grown on me.

I somehow don't agree with that. White is for me as a real bmw as it is black, if not even more considering the motorsport implication of that colour. Everything else for me is a bit ordinary but black or especially white...

My first choice is Sapphire metallic black, then alpine white.

Wow, a 4 year old thread full of participation by long-dormant members. This one has really been dug out from the crypt.

My all time fav E60 colors are unique to the M5 -- Interlagos Blue (no 1 for me) and Indy Red. Now as for E60 colors available to us non-ballers, I like carbon black, sapphire black and titanium silver (sorry all of you AW lovers).

My next BMW will probably be titanium silver as it is so much easier to keep looking clean and I don't have my own driveway to wash it. But if my budget allows for the F10 M5 in 2012 and interlagos blue is still available, I couldn't resist.

Never had any other color besides black and white before, I'll definitely look at the titanium silver metallic for my next color. Currently, jet black with beige interior 550i. Just can't pull the trigger on another black on black since I have always tinted my windows, the the black on black with dark tint makes the interior pitch black, especially in winter. Wanted a bit of contrast...

Either way, any color is fine when the car is just so beautiful at all angles.
