Our first choice was alpine-white, but couldn't find one since we were at a particular budget and looking for a pre-owned e60. We purhcased a sapphire-black instead.

White with some black details (rood, kidneys etc.) would be my this time favorite!

Now i have this carbon"black", realy hard to get and keep on good looking ..

And if the sun is not shining, it´s black

Light colors:

1. car interior will be 15 degrees cooler than dark colors. Put your hand on a dark color fender and a white fender. You will see (feel).

2. Dirt does not show up as easily on light colored cars, including white.

3. Body work is much more difficult to identify on light colored cars.

Biggest advantages of black car:

1. You get to wipe dust off everyday.
2. Condensation and dust will convince you to wash everyday.

Jet black or Alpine white!

If you get black, invest in a California Car Duster ASAP and prepar to wax and wash that sucker all the time.

was thinking of getting this but read somewhere in the detail forum that using the duster can be more harmful since I'll be dragging contaminants across the paint...love the black color but so far I'm washing it once a week now yet still very unhappy with the amount of dust and dirt I can see on the car every morning. If only they make some additive spray that helps reduce the attraction of dust to the damn black paint

Black Sapphire, with the orgasmic sparkle in the paint, or Alpine White with tints, black grills and shadow line trim...

Matson - these are absolutely stunning pics, especially the first one. Nice job of capturing the color nuances in carbon black.

Mine's Alpine White, I was not fussy over the colour of the car, I choose it more for the spec.
