Went to drop off my 545i for service and stopped by to see my sales associate. He showed me my first M5 in the flesh and planted the seed 
Also, he told me something I did not know: BMW is bringing a supercharged Alpina B7 to the US. It will be a very rare allotment (like the Z8) with about 250 cars in MY2007 for the entire country. I asked him about the Alpina B5 and said no plans (why compete with M5). Has anyone else heard this?
